• Identify the needs of the facility regarding infection control and prevention issues.
• Develop policies and guidelines to meet infection control and prevention needs.
• Develop and implement educational policies.
• Provide advisory support to all personnel on infection control issues, including isolation, infectious disease exposure, and education.
• Compiles infection control data and develops new methods of documentation and expansion of the facility’s current program.
• Analyze infection control data and assist in outbreak investigations.

• Active and valid RN License in the state of GA or Compact License.
• Prior experience as an Infection Preventionist.

What you will do:

• Provide clinical consulting service delivery to our clients
• Manage assigned client facilities in both service delivery and cost effectiveness    
• Ensure timely delivery of consulting visits according to our contractual obligations
• Ensures assigned profit and loss goals are met
• Sells extra consulting days per quarter
• Conducts productive site visit days per month
• Submit internal reports/calendars per company guidelines
• Submit client reports after completion of customer site visit per company guidelines
• Maintain effective and timely communication with the VP of Operations about internal and external customer issues
• Participate with the sales process as requested
• Provide client customer service averaging 9.0 on the customer survey scale as it relates to consulting services
• Attend trade shows as requested · Maintain effective participation in our team meetings, committees, and/or on conference calls
• Stays current on issues and regulations that affect the industry and long-term care field
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

What it takes to join the family:

• B.S. in Nursing degree preferred
• Licenses/Certification: Registered Nurse
• Previous experience as a Director of Nursing or in multi-facility management in nurse/physician consulting
• Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to adjust the message to fit the audience
• Possesses strong organizational and time management skills
• Extensive air travel required.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to analyze and synthesize information to understand issues and identify options
